The Florida State Parks system provides wonderful opportunities to get outdoors, explore and learn more about the history of Florida and our beautiful wildlife. Gainesville hosts several state parks within our city and county limits including Paynes Prairie, San Felasco, and Devil's Millhopper to name a few.
